Sportbikegirl's Dad is getting back into motorcycle riding after many years of riding and operating just about everything else (planes, boats, tractors and snowmobiles). He's right at home now t hough on Tiffany's CBR900.
Tiffany's Mom and Dad just returned from Bike Week 2003 at Daytona Beach, FL and attended a charity auction benefit held by the Ducati Online members for Tiffany's Melanoma Foundation. The benefit was the idea of Vicki Smith who has been so generous the past two years helping Tiffany's foundation.
The weather in the "Sunshine State" was wet most of the time with torrential downpours most of the seven days, but that did not dampen the spirits of Judd and Faye Weirbach. Judd had hauled his motorcycle all the way from Nevada to Florida and his attitude was: "I am where Tiffany always wanted to be, Bike Week in Daytona, and I will do what she would do, RIDE, RIDE rain or shine." So Tiffany's parents rode among the hundreds of thousands that attended and their only regret was that Tiffany could not be physically there. Regardless, they had the feeling that she was riding with them. Bike Week at Daytona is a must-attend event for any rider, in their opinion.
